Turn worked shifts into a proper invoice without opening a spreadsheet. Yakka Labour builds the line items from your timesheets, adds GST if you charge it and prints your payment details, so the person paying you has everything on one PDF.

How it works

  1. Start from timesheets or from scratch

    Choose “Convert to invoice” on selected shifts, or create a blank invoice for any job.

  2. Fill in the details

    Invoice number (unique to your account), date, who you are billing, line items with rate and quantity, and a due date. Saved clients and saved items make the next one faster.

  3. Add GST and payment instructions

    GST is set at 10% by default and can be switched off. Your PayID or bank details are printed on the invoice.

  4. Share the PDF

    Preview and share the invoice as a PDF, or link it to a builder with their payer code.

  5. Track paid and unpaid

    Filter invoices by client and period, see totals paid and outstanding, and mark an invoice as paid once the money lands.

Builders can invoice from a signed timesheet

On the employer side, an approved timesheet can become an invoice in one step. Lines are calculated from net hours (breaks removed) times the rate, the due date is set 14 days out, and the approval signature is printed on the PDF.

If the worker has not added bank details yet, the builder can request them from the app, and the worker is notified when an invoice arrives.

FAQ

Can I turn my timesheets into an invoice?

Yes. Select the shifts in Timesheets and choose “Convert to invoice”. The hours and rate become line items you can still edit.

Does the invoice include GST?

GST is set at 10% by default. If you are not registered for GST you can switch it off on the invoice.

How do I get paid from a Yakka invoice?

Your PayID or bank details are printed on the invoice and the payer transfers the money directly to you. Payments are not processed inside the app; you mark the invoice as paid when it arrives.

Can I delete an invoice?

Unpaid invoices can be deleted. Once an invoice is marked as paid it is locked, so your records stay accurate.
