Can I send timesheets to a builder who is not on Yakka?
Yes. Preview or share the timesheet as a PDF, or export a CSV, and send it however the builder prefers. Sending with a payer code only works with a builder account.
For workers and employers

Yakka Labour turns every check-in into a timesheet line. Workers send their shifts to the person paying them, builders review and sign them off, and both sides keep the same record. No paper sheets left in the ute, no screenshots of hours in a group chat.
Check in when you start, add breaks, check out when you finish. Each shift is saved with start and finish times, breaks and your hourly rate.
Open Timesheets, select the shifts and choose how to share them: send to payer, convert to an invoice, preview or share a PDF, or export a CSV.
Enter the builder’s payer code. The shifts are linked to their account and they get one push notification, not one per shift.
The builder can correct start, finish, break or rate (every edit is recorded), then approves the timesheet with a signature on screen.
When the timesheet is approved you receive a “Timesheet approved” notification, and it is ready to turn into an invoice.
A signed, timestamped record settles most hour disputes before they start. The approval stores who signed, when, and the printed name, and it appears again on the invoice PDF as the authorised signature.
If you pay casual labour by the hour, read how to pay labourers in Australia and check the right award level in the building and construction award guide.
Timesheet lines come from site check-in, so the hours are captured when they happen rather than typed up on Friday night. Workers who prefer paper can still export a PDF or CSV.

The builder can edit start, finish, breaks and rate before approving. Each edit is recorded with who made it and when, so both sides can see what changed.
It is a short code that identifies the builder or company paying you. Entering it links your shifts to their account so they can review and approve them.
