Do workers need the Yakka app to accept an invite?
Yes. The invite includes links to download the Yakka Labour app; workers use it to scan the QR code or enter the site code when they arrive.

Invite your crew to the jobsite with a code, link or QR

Every jobsite you create in Yakka Labour gets its own six-character site code and QR code. Send the invite by email, SMS or WhatsApp, stick the QR on the gate, and workers can check in from their phone the moment they arrive.
How it works

Create the jobsite
Add the site and Yakka generates a six-character code, for example 4K7A92. Letters and numbers that look alike (0, 1, O) are left out so nobody misreads it.

Choose how to invite
Open “Invite worker” and send the invite by email, SMS or WhatsApp, or copy the link to paste anywhere.

Workers get everything they need
The invite includes the check-in link, the site code and links to download the app from the App Store or Google Play.

Print the QR for the gate
Download the jobsite QR code as an image and print it for the site entrance or the induction board.

Track who was invited
Each invite is logged with the name, contact, channel and status, so you can see who has been sent the link.
From invite to check-in
An invite does not put a worker on a roster by itself. It gives them the link and code they need; they join your jobsite when they check in on site. From then on their hours show up for you to approve as timesheets.

Control the check-in area
From the same jobsite screen you can switch the location check on or off. With it on, workers need to be within about 300 metres of the site to check in.
