The Yakka Labour MCP server lets an AI assistant find construction, warehouse, cleaning and hospitality workers across Australia and send a staffing request to Yakka Labour for a business. Ask your assistant something like “find three forklift drivers in Adelaide for Monday”, and it can search profiles, check a hiring guide and pass the request to our team.

How do I connect my assistant?

Claude: add a custom connector and paste https://yakkalabour.com.au/mcp. ChatGPT: turn on developer mode for apps and connectors, then create a connector with the same URL. Microsoft Copilot Studio and other agent platforms: add an MCP server tool pointing to the URL.

Privacy and fair use

The server only returns profile information that is already public on yakkalabour.com.au. Worker email addresses, phone numbers and exact locations are never shared; requests go to the Yakka Labour team, who contact the hirer. Yakka Labour is a marketplace, not an agency: the hirer chooses each worker and agrees the AUD rate directly. Rates in the guides are indicative; minimum pay is set by the relevant award on the Fair Work Ombudsman website.

Who receives a request sent through the MCP server?

The Yakka Labour team, exactly like the request form on the website. They contact the hirer by phone or email to confirm workers, availability and rates. Assistants should only send a request after the user confirms the details.
